INCITE Taps Producer MATT HYDE For New Album

March 24, 2014

INCITE, the Phoenix, Arizona-based metal band fronted by Richie Cavalera — the stepson of SOULFLY/CAVALERA CONSPIRACY mainman Max Cavalera — will enter a Los Angeles-area studio on April 14 with producer producer Matt Hyde (DEFTONES, SLAYER, SKELETONWITCH) to begin recording its third album for a late 2014 release.

INCITE recently welcomed new guitarist Romeo, who will be recording the new album and joining the band as a full-time touring member, alongside Richie Cavalera, drummer Lennon Lopez and bassist Christopher El. Incumbent guitarist Kevin "Dis" McAllister will only be recording the new album and is involved in the songwriting.

INCITE's sophomore album, "All Out War", was recently nominated in the "Best Metal/Hardcore" category at the 13th annual Independent Music Awards. The CD, which was released in November 2012, was recorded at Darth Mader Music in Hollywood, California with producer Logan Mader (GOJIRA, SOULFLY).

INCITE released its debut album, "The Slaughter", in October 2009 via I Scream Records.

Richie Cavalera has made a number of guest appearances in the studio and on stage with both SOULFLY and CAVALERA CONSPIRACY.
